If you’re already working in a role where you help people make decisions or access support - whether that’s in careers, housing, education, employment, or the community - this qualification is designed for you. You can select optional units to match your role, offering you a personalised experience.
What could this course lead to?
Roles such as Senior Advisor, Guidance Team Leader, or Advice Service Manager become more accessible, or you could choose to specialise within specific areas such as mental health or advocacy.

The course will take up to twelve months, but there is the option to complete more quickly if your schedule allows.
This qualification is delivered completely online, through workshops and one-to-one sessions.
You will be assessed by completing written assessments, observations of practice, profession discussion and on the job evidence submission.
You must be working in a sector where they have access to provide people with advice and guidance as you will need to be observed in practice.
An initial interview will take place with one of our assessors to determine if this is the right course or if the Level 3 is more suitable.
