Apprenticeships, Information and Meaningful Encounters (AIM)

Delivering powerful provision regarding apprenticeship pathways and T Levels to schools and colleges in London

Overview

Edt has been successfully delivering apprenticeship themed assemblies and workshops to students and parents/carers across London since 2019 during which time we have seen apprenticeships and other technical pathways grow in esteem relative to traditional routes.

We have attained funding from the Greater London Authority to deliver a new programme – AIM London (Apprenticeships, Information, and Meaningful Encounters) – to schools and colleges in London. We are excited to continue our mission to raise the awareness and uptake of apprenticeships and T Levels among young people. Details of our free activities can be found below.

Our activities can be tailored to be PAL (Provider Access Legislation) compliant and will also support schools and colleges performance against Gatsby Benchmark 7 to ensure students can take their next career step with confidence.

Please note

As a fully funded programme of finite resource, we can only provide four student facing visits per school/college campus per year (plus an additional parents visit). We encourage schools and colleges to maximise our impact by inviting us to deliver multi-activity visits in so far as your school calendar allows. In your planning meeting, our project coordinator will discuss the best options to maximise our impact according to your school’s needs.
